In many cases, homeschoolers actually receive higher standing in admissions pools due to the consistent academic excellence that homeschoolers achieve. However, online homeschooling students must be especially vigilant in following these diploma requirements in order to ensure admissions officers that they have completed a sufficient course load. College admissions officers pay close attention to make sure that students have had a background in these courses. The Cambridge Academy is not a GED program; it's a nationally accredited high school diploma program. Most colleges and employers have recognized that students do not need to complete a rigorous high school course load in order to obtain a GED.
